How to Play Bridge Builder

Each level in Bridge Builder is a fresh architectural challenge. You are given some metal planks initially and you need to drag and drop them so that you can make a bridge that spans water, canyons, or other chasms. The goal is simple — get the car over without letting the bridge collapse!

Metal is your main building material, yet it's in short supply, so every piece is valuable. You can remove misplaced pieces by double-tapping on them. To build bridges that last longer, use support tactics like building Y-shaped or triangular foundations on both sides of the bridge. Such buildings disperse weight more uniformly and are less likely to be destroyed.

Others have vertical plate or wire levels upon which you can build suspension-type bridges. They will wobble slightly, but they can support heavier loads. The problem is that there is no single "right way" to build, and every failure brings you closer to the optimal design.

As you progress, you'll have the option to unlock new levels such as cities, waterfalls, and mountains. If you get stuck, the game's excellent hint system offers full tutorials or partial hints to help you in the right direction.
